Welcome to Branching Realms, a creative writing platform that allows users to explore rich, interactive fiction experiences such as LitRPGs, mysteries, and other story genres. By using the app, you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

1. Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old to use Branching Realms. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian’s permission.

2. Use of the App

You may use Branching Realms only for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:

• Copy, reproduce, scrape, or distribute any part of the content without permission.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the app’s functionality.
• Use the app in any unlawful or unauthorized way.

3. Intellectual Property

All story content, designs, and intellectual property in the app are owned by the creators of Branching Realms. You may not reuse or redistribute any content without explicit permission.

4. User Accounts

We use Google Sign-In to authenticate users and save their preferences and progress. We do not collect or sell personal data beyond what is necessary for sign-in and app functionality.

5. In-App Purchases and Advertising

Branching Realms may display ads and offer in-app purchases to enhance your experience. All transactions are handled securely through the Google Play Store. No refunds are issued except as required by law.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the app at our discretion, especially if any Terms are violated.

7. Limitation of Liability

Branching Realms is provided “as is.” We make no guarantees of availability, performance, or content accuracy. Your use of the app is at your own risk.

8. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date at the top. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated Terms.
